Darren Fry in the “Thunderstruck Altered, this
thing looks amazing and yes I am biased, into
their burnout routine, and this thing sounds
mega tough, stages and off he goes and the tyre
shake is amazing, those is so much shuddering
and big black track marks, he gets mid track and
the altered is spewing fuel out of the right
bank, but still he runs a good number giving all
the track difficulties.

Now Paul Cannulli’s new Camaro is absolutely
awesome, sideways in the burnout and only a half
track pass this time as he is still licensing.
They had the clutch set loose, but its gonna be
a jaw dropper when they get it going.

Bryan Marsden in the Silver Bullet, up against
Nathan Peirano, we have lots of action underneath
the Lexus with both crew and track officials under
the front of the car. Marsden will take a solo
pass, he is hitting the shift points nice and hard,
and it slots into the top half of the field.

Christine Steffans up against Bill Fletcher,
Steffans is a force to be reckoned with and good on
her for doing all her training and getting used to
this car before she steps up. Steffans had the
better reaction time and took it through the finish
line, Fletcher in fifth spot, runs a perfect back up
time to the run before.

Nikita Suridge ex junior dragster driver takes on
the expierenced Les Rodgie in his teacher’s pet
funny car. Nikita has a major engine explosion at
half track and there is mass amount of smoke coming
out the back of the outlaw dragster. Meanwhile Les
runs straight down the groove for a tidy pass that
will see him move up the qualifying list. No oil
amazing !!!

alongside and waiting ever so patiently for Steve
Easton to return from the thousand foot mark after
his burnout, a nice clean leave for Easton, Martin
on a good run as well, maybe they will have words in
the pits as Martin had to wait a long time on the
line for the return of Easton.

Tim Caswell produces the goods
in the fairlane laying down a crowd pleasing 300ft
burnout. He will face Brian Marsden in the Marsden
family motorsport dragster. Starter has a look under
Caswell ford but all is well they are sent on there
way and the fairlane is smoking from half track.
Marsden goes 6.7 and will move in to the top half of
the field.

Darren Fry
and Nathan Peirano, Peirano will be throwing all at
this run in honour of father Pete, who is the
biggest supporter their racing will be and has been
taken to hospital with a heart attack this morning,
but is believed to be okay. Fry will have to do the
chasing, Fry’s car leaves quite violently and
crosses the centre line, handing the win to Peirano.

Paul
Cannulli and Bryan Marsden, now this is going to be
a very close race, Cannulli has dialled in at the
minimum he can for this field, he will run the risk
of breaking out, Marsden an old hand at the sport,
will be hot on his tails with just .25 separating
them, this will be won or lost on the line. Marsden
has a good leave but Cannulli is all over the track
and backs off.

Well I never
after being taken to hospital this morning Pete
Peirano is back at the track and with Team Peirano,
Bryan Marsden in the lane alongside him, Marsden
will do the chasing with nearly a full second, can
Peirano pull a great reaction time and keep Marsden
out, but no its Marsden with the better reaction
time and he very quickly hunts down Peirano and puts
him back on the trailer.

Caswell is looking to catch him up, but Marsden
crosses the finish line first but breaks out handing
the win to Caswell and he makes it to another final.
